Skillet Garlic Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf French bread, cut in half lengthwise
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Brush the cut sides of the bread with olive oil.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the garlic, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle evenly over the oiled bread.
  4. Place the bread halves on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
  5. Serve warm.

Notes:

  • Use a cast-iron skillet for baking the bread if you prefer a crispier crust.
  • For extra flavor, add chopped fresh herbs to the garlic and cheese mixture.
