Ingredients:
- 1 loaf French bread, cut in half lengthwise
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Brush the cut sides of the bread with olive oil.
- In a small bowl, mix together the garlic, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle evenly over the oiled bread.
- Place the bread halves on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
- Serve warm.
Notes:
- Use a cast-iron skillet for baking the bread if you prefer a crispier crust.
- For extra flavor, add chopped fresh herbs to the garlic and cheese mixture.
