Pasta Primavera

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb pasta (such as linguine)
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 cup sliced broccoli florets
  • 1 cup sliced yellow squash
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
  2. Steam the vegetables separately until tender.
  3. In a large saucepan, heat the tomato sauce and cooked pasta.
  4. Mix in the steamed vegetables and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Serve hot.

Notes:

  • A good quality non-stick pan will help prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.
  • Consider using a multi-purpose cooker for cooking pasta and steaming vegetables at the same time.
